Obsidian Lux Cleaning Services was originally established as a Mobile Detailing company formerly known as Obsidian Lux Detailing back in 2019. OLCS came into existence to meet a significant demand for cleaning professionals to assist in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus. Kevin grew to appreciate the task as time went on, although the labor-intensive and time-consuming process of detailing was not one of his favorites. At that point, he began seeking work in the same business as it didn't require as much of his time and didn't require him to see and clean all the grime that one would expect to see in the detailing field.

Kevin appreciates the janitorial and commercial cleaning services OLCS provides, because it would all be in AC controlled environments and not in the harsh elements. Now we can provide services such as, disinfection, sanitation and floor care and not have to work in such small quarters like you would see in detailing.

Obsidian Lux Cleaning Services is a Commercial cleaning company working primarily with large industrial, commercial offices, law firm offices, and doctor offices. We’re an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. We provide office disinfection and sanitization, hard floor care treatment, carpet cleaning, green cleaning, carpet spotting, wood floor care treatment

and much more. Each technician, as well as manager, is certified in the area that they will be servicing. We pride themselves on being highly responsible, professional, and knowledgeable. The goal is to make sure you as a client of ours, feels completely confident in our process, team, and execution, you can always ask us questions!

Obsidian Lux Cleaning Services partners with Son’s and Daughter’s of Haiti. We partner with SND by providing resources to help the children of Haiti with everyday living necessities to make it another day in this world which allows them to continually focus on their life purposes. We understand how life can really be tough to navigate when you have all the resources necessary so we understand that it can be so much more difficult when resources are limited.   

The name Obsidian comes from the shard that is formed from felsic lava cools rapidly at the edges of a felsic lava flow or volcanic dome. Obsidian was a main currency source of trading for ancient civilizations such as the Mayans. Obsidian rocks and shards are known to be turned into tools with very sharp edges. 

Obsidian is said to have the power to ward off negative energy and the ability to help keep the users anchored and grounded. Just like its reputation for forming sharp edges and to ward off negative energy, Obsidian Lux Cleaning Services embodies these same traits and abilities. Our name means we cut through our client’s issues, and we bring some positivity to areas of great discomfort in the janitorial and the commercial cleaning worlds whether that is foul restroom odors, disinfecting and sanitation services or just a general cleaning for the entire office.
